What’s a mini-session???…It’s a 20-30 minute family portrait session that yields about 10-12 final images.

Who can do them?

Anyone!  I have a few dates on the calendar in the fall at predefined locations that any family can book and some super special incentives for these mini-sessions.

OR

You can organize 2 or more families and choose your own mini-session date and location.  Organize 6 or more families and your session fee is waived!

This little guy is turning ONE this Sunday…which also happens to be our 6th wedding anniversary (yay k&d!).  He’s going to have a fabulous Dr. Seuss themed party to celebrate his big birthday.  He cracks me up with his silliness…

So…through lots of love and support (and votes) from her friends, family and community Karissa WON!!!

Hopefully many of you saw her on Sunday at the Astros game.  I am so thrilled for her!  Congrats Karissa – you deserve it!!!

I love my family and my friends – there is simply nothing great than their presence in my life.

It wasn’t until my friend Karissa was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 30 that I realized how short life really is.  I just didn’t think people “our age” got breast cancer.  Karissa has kicked her cancer’s rear, but not without a huge fight.

Being a huge Astros fan myself I am thrilled that Karissa has entered this contest.  It’s a chance to be the Bat Girl for a day for the Astros.  She’s a HUGE fan.  She lives out of state now, but she travels back to Houston each year for games and she and her hubby go to Spring Training each year…I admit it, she is likely a bigger fan than I am.

Amber and TJ were married in an intimate sunset ceremony at the gorgeous Nature’s Point on Lake Travis.  I was lucky enough to get a preview of the location when I met with Amber a few weeks ago for her bridals.  When Dustin saw it, he fell in love too.  He proclaimed that he wasn’t going home, ever.

TJ’s sister Nikki is one of my closest friends and through the last few years I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know their family.  On a professional note, the location was a photographer’s dream…on a personal note, being with such wonderful friends for a few days was a dream.
