mr. z is back! – 1 year

I can’t believe it, but Mr. Z is already a year old!  He was just a tiny newborn just a few days ago, I swear!

blue eyed gal – 9 months

Oh my goodness this little one gets more and more beautiful each time I see her!  I just adore her perfect little head and big blue eyes.

So, I have to give the back story on this first image.  Miss E was crawling around and completely enthralled in eating leaves, checking out the ducks and her surroundings and she wanted absolutely nothing to do with us (her mommy, daddy, grandma and myself).  So a man who was fishing nearby came over to try and get her to smile and pay attention to us.  For some wild reason he decided to bring a little fish he caught and he put it down right next to Miss E.  Needless to say Miss E wasn’t too happy about this slimy squishy thing being close to her and honestly I can’t say that I blame her.  Ick!

And now for less weird stuff…the gorgeous Miss E.

Enjoy your sneaks B family!  I can’t wait to see Miss E for her one year session!

kristen + brady – engaged!

I met up with Kristen and Brady recently for their engagement session.  We photographed Kristen’s sister’s wedding (Cari + Jason) a year ago and it was such a treat to see Kristen again. I had so much fun with the girls on Cari’s wedding day and I know that I’ll have just as much fun when Kristen and Brady are married.

These two are so in love, infatuated with each other and have that spark between them that’s sooooo obvious.  They made my job easy and didn’t have to be coached to kiss, snuggle or have fun together.

See the magic between them??? Enjoy!

little firecracker – maternity

I met up with Tricia and BJ recently to capture her adorable little baby belly before her little one arrives on/around the the 4th of July.  We had a nice relaxed session with a little hugging, kissing and some blackberry picking.

I had a fabulous time with the two of you!

Enjoy your sneak peeks!

the greatest gift – birth photography

Having just celebrated Mother’s Day I can say without a doubt that motherhood is the greatest gift I’ve ever received.  My daughter is my greatest joy and accomplishment and I simply cannot imagine life without her. This joy is one that I hope and pray every woman is able to experience.

I had the privilege of seeing this joy born unto new parents, of seeing a beautiful little girl take her first breaths and seeing the greatest gift given, the gift of motherhood.  You might remember Jennifer from her maternity session blog post a few weeks ago.  We’ll, the little blessing she was carrying arrived just one week after our session.

As a surrogate Jennifer gave Allison and Doug the greatest gift possible…Miss Emma Madison.

Special thanks to Dr. Jon Rawson and the nurses and staff at Memorial Herman The Woodlands Hospital.

J&M and A&D – thank you, thank you, thank you!

If you would like more information about birth photography feel free to email or call me any time.

Enjoy!
