They’re gorgeous, blissful and married. Monica and Chris exchanged vows at Christ Church Cathedral and had a beautiful and fun-filled reception at The Omni. I love the details from this wedding, from the flowers to the yummy candy buffet to the fabulous cakes. Their wedding cake is one of my favorite wedding cakes of all time.
Monica and Chris have a fabulous family, fantastic friends and a long and blissful marriage ahead of them.
We wish you both the very best! Enjoy your sneaks!

These two are so in love, with life and with each other. We had icky weather to contend with getting rained on a few times during their session, but it didn’t seem to phase them a bit. They still laughed, kissed, hugged, goofed off and thoroughly enjoyed being with each other. I love being around people so in love; their happiness makes me giddy.
Many best wishes to the newlyweds!

A few weeks ago we celebrated Amelia’s 2nd birthday. Her birthday is of course a celebration of her birth, but it’s also a celebration of my life as a mother. I can say without a single bit of doubt that giving birth to our daughter was the single most amazing and life changing moment of my life. I never imagined all of the emotions I would feel at that moment. The pride I would feel for myself as a woman and what I had just done. The admiration I felt for my husband and the heartaches I knew he would experience with a little girl in his life. A love so intense for my daughter that it pained me; the love my own mother always had for me but she could never fully explain.
Those are the moments I want to capture. I want to capture your expressions as you anticipate you’re little one’s arrival, your emotions as you meet him/her for the first time and the love that instantly fills your heart. Those are the moments you’ll carry with you for the rest of your life.
I am so excited to announce that I am now offering birth photography collections. I want to capture your birth, your story. For a limited time I am offering a complimentary newborn session with all birth photography collection purchases. I will take a very limited number of bookings this year so please contact me soon for details!
Now for more good news…If you’re expecting a little one in January or February I will photograph your birth for free, yep you read that correctly for free! I will also provide a black and white slide show of your birth story on a disc which you will be able to enjoy for years to come. For a sample slide show please click here. If you want any prints or other products you’ll be able to order them through your private online gallery.
The only thing that I ask in return is that you clear everything with your doctor/hospital, that you get approval for me to be there and any guidelines you, your doctor or your hospital have regarding my presence. I will happily sit down and chat with you and your husband about what to expect from your birth story experience. Please contact me soon as I will only be able to take a few births during this time period.
I look forward to capturing these moments for you, for your husband and for your little one to cherish for years to come.
And because I hate to blog without sharing a picture, here’s a picture of Amelia’s little sister or brother due in early July.

The cut off for holiday orders is this Friday, December 18 at noon. Please be sure to get your orders in by noon if you want them before Christmas!
Happy Holidays!

It’s crunch time so there’s not much blogging time for me right now, boo! I couldn’t resist and wanted to share just one sneak peek from the last 4 little kiddo sessions that I’ve done. More sneaks to come!
