I am REALLY behind on blogging! I am going to work over the next few days to get some of my recent sessions up on the blog for your viewing enjoyment. I finished all of the full client galleries before I went out of town, but I ran out of time to blog and I’ve been too busy to play catch up.
I promise to get some new posts up soon as well as all of the new stuff I’ve been working on, yay!

You might recognize Miss C and her mommy…I photographed her birth last month. We got together recently for her newborn session and my how she has changed!
She just turned 6 weeks and was quite alert during her session. She is just so sweet and calm.
J&K – she’s more beautiful than the last time I saw her…if that’s even possible!
Enjoy your sneak peeks!

Jaime and Aaron were married in one of the most intimate locations we’ve ever photographed, at Cullen’s in the Clear Lake area. They chose a slightly different route than many couples…instead of doing a big dance they decided to do an elegant 6 course seated dinner where they would have an opportunity to enjoy the food and visit with all of their guests. Tradition and family are so very important to them and so evident in the details of the day.
The details (flowers, table linens, etc.) were incredible, the food was delicious, the couple was amazing…see for yourselves….
We wish you both the very best!

Cari and Jason were married in Cari’s family church Holy Spirit Episcopal Church surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Jason contacted me a few weeks before their wedding to let me in on a little secret he was planning for Cari. She had always wanted to leave her wedding in a classic car and wow did Jason fulfill that wish! He was so excited to surprise her with a 1960 Rolls Royce. Cari of course was thrilled by the surprise and since we both love classics Dustin and I were thrilled too
Please let me introduce the gorgeous Cari and her dashing hubby Jason.
Congrats and best wishes to both of you! (P.S. Gig ‘em Aggies!)

My three favorites from the day…

Birth is the greatest miracle. Plain and simple, it just is. I have traveled and I have seen and photographed so many things, but nothing compares to photographing a birth.
When J&K asked me to photograph their daughter’s birth I was ecstatic; I wanted to jump up and down with excitement. I’m pretty high energy to start with…so I bet you can imagine how I would have been bouncing off of the walls if it had been appropriate. If I had chosen any other career path in life I would undoubtedly have been an L&D nurse. As Dustin put it, being a photographer I have the best of both worlds; I get to be creative, witness this miracle and I don’t have to get dirty.
It is the greatest miracle I have personally experienced and now witnessed. The strength of her mommy, her first breaths, her first cries…like I said, I witnessed a miracle.
Special thanks to Dr. Laura Davidson and the nurses and staff at Tomball Regional Medical Center. K&J – thank you, thank you, thank you!
So…the answer to the question “will you do it again?” is yes, in a heart beat. If you would like information regarding birth photography please email or call me any time, I’d love to hear from you!
