I had the joy of doing this giveaway last year and got to spend time with this beautiful family as a result.

I’ve been looking forward to doing it again all year.  This week is the official start to the holiday season, a time for thanksgiving and for giving unto others.  To celebrate this wonderful time of year I’ve decided to give thanks and give.

This holiday season I’m giving one family a complimentary custom portrait session, a $250 print credit and their images on a disc to ensure that the winning family can enjoy their images for years to come.  That’s not all!  If your submission is chosen then YOU will receive a complimentary portrait session and a $100 print credit.

It’s time for YOU to send in your nominations.  Nominate a friend or a family who deserves the gift of custom photography this holiday season, someone who is facing hard times in their life or someone who gives selflessly to others without expecting something in return.  Tell me their story and why they deserve this gift. Give thanks & give!

There are a few rules:

* You cannot nominate yourself.

* The nominee must reside within the Houston area or be willing to travel to the Houston area for their session.

* Please email their story as well as contact information for your nominee as well as yourself to: info@kdloftisphotography.com, please put Thanks & Giving as the subject. I need an email address as well as a phone number to ensure that I’m able to reach the winner.

* Anyone can participate, you do not need to be a past client of mine to make a nomination.

* The session must take place between January 1, 2012 and June 1, 2012.

All entries must be received by midnight on December 24.

The winning entry will NOT be shared on my site, but I retain the right to share parts of the winner’s story.  I will review all of the entries and select the winning family (with the help of my own family) on Christmas Day. The winning family does NOT need to know who nominated them unless you want them to know… be sure to note it if you absolutely do not want them to know that you nominated them.

The announcement of the winner will come the evening of Christmas Day.

It’s September which means it’s time to start thinking about your annual family portrait session. In addition to my full family sessions I’m also offering a limited number of mini-sessions on two different dates for one fabulous price.  Mini-sessions will last up to 30 minutes and the goal will be to get 8-10 images for you to choose from for your holiday cards, gift prints (the perfect present for grandparents!) and other product offerings.

Dates: Saturday, October 15th (Central Houston) & Saturday, November 12th (AM in Central Houston & PM in NW Houston)

Times available:

Saturday, November 12th  – 8:00am, 8:35am, 9:10am, 9:45am OR 3:30pm, 4:05pm, 4:40pm, and 5:15pm

Price: $125

What’s included: a 30 minute mini-session with your immediate family, a gallery with 8-10 final edited images and 25 flat holiday cards or 1 full resolution digital file.  Prints, products and additional greeting cards may be purchased separately from your private online gallery.

Booking: email me at info@kloftisphotography.com and let me know which date and time you would like. If your preferred date and time is available I will respond with a link where you can pay your session fee.   If your date/time is not available then I will notify you of the openings. I will do my best to reflect openings in this post.  All mini-session dates and times are available until payment has been received.
